Honeymoon In Somerset
With Your Dogs By Your Side

Because Your Dogs Belong In Your Happily Ever After
When Simon and I got married, we knew that our dogs and horse would always be part of our story — so we completely understand why you wouldn’t want to leave yours behind for such an important trip.
For us, a honeymoon should be about being together, slowing down and making memories. If your dog has been part of your life through all the big moments, why shouldn’t they be there for the start of this next chapter too?
We’ve created our cottages with exactly that in mind.
You get the romance, privacy and little luxuries you’d expect from a honeymoon, while your four-legged family member gets to be part of the adventure.

The Quantock Hide -
Our Most Romantic Cottage
If you’re looking for somewhere that feels tucked away from the world, Quantock Hide is rather special.
Hidden away within our private estate, it’s a peaceful little escape for two, with beautiful countryside all around.
It has that lovely feeling of being somewhere completely your own — perfect for lazy mornings, long lunches and evenings where you don’t need to do anything at all.
And, of course, your dog gets to enjoy it with you. Because what’s the point of finding somewhere
this lovely if you have to leave your best friend at home?

Private Hot Tubs
One of our favourite things about a honeymoon is having time to simply do nothing together.
Your private hot tub is made for exactly that. Sink into the warm bubbles with a glass of something chilled, chat about the wedding, relive your favourite moments.

Luxury Without Leaving Your Dog Behind
We don’t think bringing your dog on honeymoon should mean compromising on the things that make a getaway feel special.
You can have beautiful surroundings, privacy, comfortable interiors, your own hot tub and all those lovely honeymoon moments — while your dogs remain part of the story.
After all, they’ve probably been there through the planning, the excitement and the big day itself.
It seems only fair they get to enjoy the honeymoon too!

Step outside and you’re surrounded by the beautiful Quantock Hills, giving you the perfect excuse to get out together.
Take a slow morning walk, wander through the heathland and woodland, find a quiet spot to sit or simply let your dog lead the way.
There’s something wonderfully calming about being outdoors together after the excitement of a wedding.
And when you get back? The hot tub will be waiting.

We know that the little things can make a stay feel extra special.
Whether you’d like to arrange something for your arrival, have a favourite bottle waiting for you or simply want to make your first few days as newlyweds feel different from an ordinary holiday, talk to us.
Simon and I genuinely love helping couples make their stay personal.
This is your honeymoon, after all — it should feel like yours.

A dog-friendly honeymoon can be wonderfully easy when you choose somewhere designed with both of you in mind.
Think private space, beautiful countryside, romantic evenings, plenty of walks and somewhere your dog can genuinely be part of the holiday rather than simply being allowed to come along.
And if you’re anything like us, you’ll probably find that having your dog there makes the memories even better.
Years from now, when you look back at the beginning of your married life together, you’ll remember the wedding, the celebrations, the walks, the lazy mornings — and hopefully the muddy paw prints and wagging tails that came along for the ride too.

relive your favourite wedding moments and watch the Somerset sky turn from daylight to stars.
There’s something wonderfully romantic about sitting outside together late into the evening, with nothing but the countryside around you.

Just because you’re staying in a private cottage doesn’t mean you have to miss out on those lovely honeymoon extras.
Simon and I can help you arrange some very special touches, from having a private chef come and cook for you in the cottage, to delicious home-cooked meals delivered ready to pop in the oven.
No restaurant reservations, no getting dressed up and no need to leave your cottage — just wonderful food enjoyed in your own private space.
Fancy a little pampering?
You can also arrange for treatments to come to you, with private in-cottage massages and beauty treatments available to make your honeymoon feel that bit more indulgent. For us, that’s the beauty of a cottage honeymoon.
You get the luxury and little treats you’d expect from a special hotel stay, but with your own space, your own hot tub, your own countryside and, most importantly, your dogs are right there beside you.

While you’re enjoying your honeymoon, your dog gets their own little holiday too.
Our cottages have secure, enclosed gardens where they can potter about safely, plus access to our secure exercise fields for a proper run and explore.
So while you’re soaking in the hot tub or enjoying a lazy morning together, you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe and having a great time too.
We think that’s what makes a dog-friendly honeymoon really work — you get to relax, and so do they.

Not everyone dreams of a traditional cottage honeymoon. If you’d rather be surrounded by trees, birdsong and the great outdoors, La Caravane offers a wonderfully different way to celebrate the start of married life.
Tucked away in the woods, this cosy glamping retreat gives you a more relaxed, back-to-nature experience while still being part of our beautiful Quantock Hills setting.
It’s also a lovely option if you’re looking for a more affordable honeymoon — and, of course, your dogs can come along for the adventure too.
Sometimes being newly married, surrounded by nature, with your favourite person and your dogs are all the luxury you really need.
