Our Quantock Hide cottage is truly romantic and utterly divine.
It is a favourite among honeymooners - mini moons.
It is also much loved by those celebrating a birthday or anniversary.
It is equally loved by those couples or small families who are simply looking for a big dollop of luxury.
This cottage is ideal for those who have very reactive or nervous dogs as it is set away from the other properties.

Your garden is fenced to a minimum of 6ft and, to the best of our knowledge, dog secure.
We tested it with our two reactive escape-artist dogs, and they couldn’t get out! Since then, 300+ visiting dogs have also failed to escape.
The garden has three “rooms”:

Gates at each level let you decide which areas your dogs can access.

Being such a beautiful, unique and romantic cottage in Somerset, the Quantock Hide has always been in demand for those looking for that special retreat.
Simon and I love spoiling our honeymoon couples and their dogs - here both 2 and 4 leggers can rest, recharge and add precious memories to the wedding experience.
Well big birthdays or anniversaries, or even small ones for that must obviously be celebrated and in style...
So really there is no better place to do this than staying at the Quantock Hide with your dog as this is a unique boutique cottage in Somerset.
Our speciality is spoiling our guests and their dogs and don't ask why as we don't want to ruin the surprise but when you book put on the form as much info as you can as to what you are celebrating - you will like the surprise and you have to trust us on that one!
You might think that you are booking a romantic or celebration break with friends and family, but as we all know it's not really your holiday - its theirs the dogs.
Why is it the dogs break? Well if they are happy and settled then you too can properly relax. Afterall us mere humans are just the chauffeurs and the concierge service - oh and the bank of Mum and Dad Dog parents!
With bespoke handmade soft furnishings, beautiful bed linens, fluffy bathrobes and towels your every comfort will be met.
Importantly, we want you to feel as though you are coming to stay with us and not at a soulless holiday cottage. At every turn you will find pictures and little stories of our history and our loves of both each other (it is after all a truly romantic cottage!) and our dogs and horses.
Well a luxury romantic dog friendly cottage would not be any of these unless it had its very own private outside bar.
"Rascals" Bar (which was so named after our beautiful Germand Shepherd called Star who recently gone to doggie heaven and we are still broken from her loss) But she was a delightful "Rascal" so it was only appropriate that she had a bar named after her....
From Rascals you have epic country and coastal views.
Quite literally at the end of your 6ft fenced enclosed garden lies 9'000 acres of stunning AONB Quantock Hills heathland.
The hills are made up of a monazitic of sprawling heath and deep wooded valleys with cooling rivers running through the bottoms of.
The hills are so quiet that if you see anyone else you will be most surprised and will be asking yourself "what are they doing on "our" hill!
Once you have entered the Beech Hanger country estate you will follow the signs to your private and exclusive drive. It is easily navigable but it is steep.
The bedrooms are eaved and you do have to duck a bit to get in to bed. Once in there is plenty of head room.
Because of the eves when the 2nd bedroom is set as a twin the beds are pushed up to each other.
The master bedroom has a roll top bath for two and a separate en-suite WC.
The 2nd bedroom has an adjacent bathroom with a wonderful powerful shower and a WC.
The property is attached to the east end of our private stable yard. The Quantock Hide is very secluded and private but from your bedroom windows (which are on the 1st floor) you may see our elderly 2 horses below taking themselves off down the track to their fields.
Parking is off road and private and there is room to park multiple cars
The cottage has full wifi and most mobile phones work well here.
"We have had a wonderful time here it is so peaceful and relaxing and with all sorts of lovely touches to make us feel truly special. Our 2 reactive Romanian rescue dog have for the first time ever when being away from home have been happy and settled. This has been a Godsend for us both.
The enclosed dog secure gardens make you feel like you are in your own paradise!"
