By participating in the competition you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by The Quantock Cottages
Eligibility to Enter
The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age. The Quantock Cottages employees and associates are excluded from the draw. Entry is open to residents of the UK only.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
Any entrant found to be using or creating multiple social media profiles for the purposes of entry will be disqualified. Similarly automated or robotic entries submitted by companies or individuals will also be disqualified. Any entry containing defamatory language or messaging considered by the promoter to be inappropriate will be disqualified from the competition.
The Prize
The winning prize will be as per any social media posts or as advertised on the Quantock Cottages website (www.quantockcottages.co.uk), Any holiday break in one of the Quantock Cottages will be as stated on the website or chosen social media channels – any holiday will be limited to a maximum of 3 nights and on dates (as specified by the Quantock Cottages) to be mutually agreed between the Winner and The Quantock Cottages.
Closing date is as stated on the competition information promoted via our website or nominated social media channel.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
The Quantock Cottages decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winner Announcement
The winner will be chosen at random via 3rd party software and notified via the email address provided within 3 days of the stated end of the Competition (as stated on the website and chosen social media platforms.)
The Quantock Cottages will make two attempts to contact the winner via email.
If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 7 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and The Quantock Cottages reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.
Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by The Quantock Cottages for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.
Winners agree to the use of their name and county be used in post-win publicity and to co-operate with additional reasonable requested by the promoter to participate in post-win publicity – this may include but not be limited to provision of a photo of winner prize for use on social media channels
If requested by The Quantock Cottages, the winner agrees to release their first name and place of employment to any other competition participants.
The winner's first name and country of residence will be announced on The Quantock Cottages website and social media channels.
Any personal data relating to the Winner(s) or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
Limitation of Liability
The Quantock Cottages accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
The Quantock Cottages shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the Competition, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if The Quantock Cottages has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The Quantock Cottages reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition
