A stay at our touring caravan which is set within our private woodland in Somerset offers the ultimate in dog friendly "caravan-glamping" A place and a space that is surrounded by nature. With a 6ft fenced woodland themed enclosed garden and direct access to our 2 acre 6ft fenced woodland dog exercise field your woofers will be in doggie paradise. We designed this space very much with the BSL & XL's in mind and they are welcomed here with open paws and open hearts.

Set within its own private woodland enclosure La Touring Caravan offers the very best of luxurious dog friendly "Caravan-Glamping" 7.5 Meter Luxury Caravan Fixed Twin Beds Hot & Cold Running Water Central Heating Separate En-Suite Toilet and Shower Full Size 4 Hob Gas Oven Good Size Kitchenette Area Good Size Sink Ample Storage Space 2 x 6ft bench seats in the living area # 4 x 3 Meter Awning Dining Table & Chairs Storage Cupboards Outside Kitchen Internet # In the event of extreme weather conditions we may have to take the awning down for your safety.
Drive straight in to your 160 m2 private woodland space which is fenced to 6ft and to the best of our knowledge is dog secure. This private area is a mix of hard core and gravel. There is a dedicated doggie spa which has hot and cold taps, a bath tub and a drying bench for those muddy and sandy moments. Oh did we mention we also have a doggie hairdryer.
How bliss - no need for harnesses/leads/muzzles as you have direct access from your garden in to our 2 acre 6ft fenced "Woodland Scent Zone" This enclosure also has a woodland agility course.

The Practalaties
Even luxury caravan-glamping is not for the faint hearted. But worry not think of it as an adventure! To reach the property you will travel on an circa 1.5 mile unmade up road that whilst easily navigable has a couple steep bends and you have to navigate around the odd pot hole. You will need to get out of your car and open 2 sets of gates. One is on to the Estate and the 2nd takes you in to your private 6ft fenced enclosed Woodland glade. Whilst La Touring Caravane has hot and cold running water and central heating and an en-suite shower room and loo you will need to empty both your grey waste (water from your sink and shower) and your "black waste" (waste from your toilet) cassettes in to the designated disposal point. The Caravane benefits from Star Link Wifi so it is super fast Most mobile phones work well up here On our Private Country Estate we have 3 other Boutique Holiday Cottages. These are set away from your private woodland enclosure and they are approached via a different access route. In order to make the "towing weight" the fixtures and fittings in touring caravans such as this are notoriously delicate and need to be handled with great care. With this in mind and the fact that this is our much adored 2nd home we do charge a "good housekeeping" bond of £150. This is payable by bank transfer on the day before your arrival and if all is well we will return it to you via bank transfer on the same day of your departure.
