There is nothing like a going to the seaside to lift the spirits and to allow ones inner child to take control whilst giving the adult you much needed time off. Why not search for 20 million year old ammonites amongst the rock pools at the local Kilve beach or build castles in the sand at Blue Anchor or possibly run you and the dogs along the 7 miles stetch of sandy beach at Bream or if you are feeling very wicked, why not stop for a cheeky ice cream or better still fish and chips fresh out of the newspaper while sitting on the sea wall.
HEAD TO THE FARM SHOP
A sense experience for the eyes and the tummy. With the 3 wonderful farm shops of Rumwell and Wellington, Pynes at Bridgwater and the shop of Blackmore Nr Cannington wonderful freshest produce will never be far away.
SPEND PROPER QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR PUPS
When do you usually have time just to enjoy your loved ones be 4 legged with waggie tails or the 2 legged varierty. So often our K9 family get the crumbs of our time - they are after all the least demanding and the love us unconditionally, so take time out to return this love - just by being with them and spending "them" time doing the things that they love. Maybe that's a run on the beach, a play with a ball in one of our 3 enclosed doggie exercise paddocks or good old yomp across the moors.

Happy dogs are active dogs and in a new area there is lots to sniff out and have time and space for a good play.

Do you feed raw? Do your woofers eat alot of kibble that will take up tons of space in the car, worry not we have it covered. The local pet shop, Quantock Pet & Equine can deliver your woofers food direct to your cottage so it will be ready for your arrival. Can't be having hungry doggos!
DOG SITTING/DOGGIE DAY CARE
Whilst pretty much everywhere in Somerset is dog friendly and this includes the beaches and the pubs. If however you want to go for a days shopping or want to have a peaceful couple of days and nights on your own, then there are local day and boarding kennels details of which are in the digital guide that you will be sent once you have booked your stay.

Quantock cottages are the best place we have ever stayed. The accommodation is superb, the attention to detail is amazing and Emma and Simon really do love dogs, even dogs like ours that aren’t too fond of people (well unless he can eat them!!)
