How many guests does each cottage sleep?
Each cottage sleeps up to 4 guests plus 1 babe in arms.
How many bathrooms does each cottage have?
Both bedrooms in Coleridge & Greenway have en-suite shower rooms, whilst the 2nd bedroom in the Quantock Hide has an adjacent shower room with WC and the master bedroom has a roll top bath for 2 and a en-suite WC.
Are the cottages private?
The cottages are all detached and are very private with large mature gardens. The Quantock Hide is set away from the other 2 and offers the ultimate in privacy.
Which cottages are the best to book if want to take two so we can accommodate 8 of us?
We have a lot of multi generational families and also those celebrating milestone events who want to be able to do this with friends and Coleridge & Greenway cottages are ideal for exactly this. Whilst both cottages are very private, detached and independent from each other, we can open a "secret" service gate within the 10ft high garden fencing between the cottages thus allowing for privacy and independence when required but easy access between the two properties when wanted.
Is there a hair dryer?
Yes, each bedroom has a hair dryer.
Do you have Wifi?
Yes, each cottage has WIFI. We are on Elon Musks Star Link satellite system so it is lightning fast :)
Do the cottages have a coffee machine?
Yes, each cottage has a Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine.
Do you supply logs for the wood burner?
We supply the first basket of logs for you. St Audries garage a couple of miles away sells logs and kindling.
Do you decorate the cottages for Christmas & New Year?
Yes we do. Each cottage has a large Christmas tree, and the open plan living area are very nicely and festively decorated.. We even post a letter to Santa so he knows where you'll be, because we cant have you missing out on your presents from him!
Do you supply towels?
Yes we supply both robes and bath towels. Please could you bring your own beach and dog towels.
Are there washing machines?
Yes. Each cottage has a washer/drier, iron, ironing board and airing rack.
Do you provide high chairs and travel cots?
We do have high chairs but please let us know in advance of your stay if you need one. Due to the latest H&S guidelines we regret we are no longer able to offer travel cots. Please could you bring your own.
What type of fridge freezer do you have?
Each cottage has a full size American style fridge freezer so there is plenty of storage space.
Are the cottages suitable for honeymoons?
Yes, all three cottages are. They are all luxurious, private and romantic. The most romantic is the Quantock Hide with its silk canopied bed and roll top bath for two. This cottage is our most popular for honeymoons and mini-moons.
Does every cottage have a hot tub and can it be used all year round?
Yes, each property has its own hot tub. The hot tubs are heated all year round for our guest use. We change the water for every guest so it may not be fully heated on the 1st night. The hot tubs are available for use all year round.
Do you supply basics?
Yes we do supply tea towels and oven gloves. In your cottage you will also find a starter pack of tea, coffee, salt, pepper, loo paper (2 x rolls per toilet) , basic cleaning materials, olive oil etc.
Do supermarkets deliver?
Yes they all do.
Do you have EV charging points?
Currently we do not have EV charging points. This is something that we are very much looking into but the nearest charging facility is Williton council car park which is just down the road.
I have allergies, what type of bedding do you have?
All our bedding is hypo allergenic so there is no worries for you.
Do you allow smoking in the cottages?
100% not. Guests are welcome to smoke in the gardens. If there is evidence/smell of smoking within the cottages we reserve the right to charge not only additional cleaning fees but also the re accommodating of the in coming guests in alternative premises until the smell of/evidence of smoking is no longer.
